Wonderful, the shoes under the snowdrops, so funny. Love the quotes too.Wish you a Happy Valentine´s day!
Wishing you a lovely day too Janneke - that is a little vintage egg cup which seemed tailor made to hold some snowdrops.
Love those snowdrops. had not heard the rose quote before. I bought some Red/white striped Amaryllis seeds at Garden Club on Monday for 50 cents. Will be interested to see how they do. Thanks for your comment on my moth.
Good luck with your Amaryllis seeds - I grew mine from a bulb indoors, but they probably grow in the ground with you in NZ. Hope you found the link OK
Nice bouquet in the first picture.Greetings,Filip

I adore the snowdrops in the egg up - a perfect size for these dainty beauties. Have a lovely day yourself.
I got these vintage egg cups for the grandchildren as I thought they were fun, but they are good with small flowers too. Hope you are treated well today.
Happy Valentine's Day Rosemary. Love the snowdrop arrangement, actually I like all of your photographs, as usual.

I nearly didn't include the snowdrop photo here then changed my mind.

It's true -- it's all in the perspective. Happy Valentines Day!
She was the first to see flowers in macro - it took digital cameras to teach the rest of us
Dear Rosemary,such beautiful flowers!Like those snowdrops!Happy Valentine's Day!Dimi...
Hope you have a lovely day Dimi.
Beautiful flowers. All from your house?I haven't had a moment to look into where I'd plan to walk. I am in Edmonton agai and my son is back in hospital.
The amaryllis is in the conservatory, the cyclamen on the kitchen windowsill and the snowdrops in the garden.I am saddened to learn that your son is back in hospital, it is a very stressful time for you all.I am happy to tell you about books when you are ready. Take care♡
A positive attitude serves you well! I like the little footed vase with the snowdrops in it. Going to one of my sister's for dinner, where the husbands will cook and serve us. Stay tuned!May your day be full of thorns with roses...I like that! Janey
I envy you having your sisters nearby, and how lovely that the husbands are cooking for you. I will certainly be watching to see what treats they have in store for you.
Happy Valentine´s Day to you Rosemary!Warm hug,Titti
Greetings this Valentine's Day Titti - hope you have enjoyed it.
We always must be positive, what a wonderful quote! Happy days filled with love...Olympia
Thank you Olympia for your kind comment - hope that some Valentine treats found their way to you
Hello Rosemary, What a nice bouquet to give us for Valentine's Day. I love the surreal effect of the separated stems and the overall floating-in-space quality. Have a nice holiday,Jim
Dear Jim - I do appreciate your comment very much. The floating effect of the roses took quite a lot of trial and error before I achieved it. You are the only one who noticed. Thank you.
The snowdrops are my favourites!
They are like little jewels seeing them at this time of year.
Wherever they come from, however we get them - flowers are always the perfect gift (shown by the many creative ways we find to present them.) Happy Valentine's Day, Rosemary.
Hope you enjoyed your day Rosemary - whatever would we do without flowers?
A lovely treat for the eyes , hope you had a wonderful San Valentine's Day !

Lovely. Every year in spring I promise myself that I will get to grips with my garden, producing abundant blooms for the summer. I have never really got on top of it. Your post is inspiring me to do it this year.
Wishing you lots of success with your garden.
Dear Rosemary,I'm a day late, but I hope you had an enjoyable day!

Thank you for your kind comment Orvokki
Lovely flowers for Valentine's, Rosemary, and I hope you had an enjoyable day. The snowdrops are so sweet with their little shoes, and I love the Georgia O'Keefe quote, and the big joyful blooms. We went to the O'Keefe art museum in Santa Fe a few years ago, and it was a memorable experience!
I should love to visit the O'Keefe Art Museum in Santa Fe, and see her exquisite paintings.
And I also love the little egg cups with legs! I had some of those too. I wish they still made them! Lovely snowdrops, and just the season for them!
The grandchildren love them♡
Just love those snowdrops ........All the best Jan
