How Green is my Valley?

The cyclical wheel keeps turning - sap rises, awakening trees and hedgerows from their winter slumbers; Mother Nature decks them out in luminous shades of green, her seasonal choice, chartreuse, a glorious sight to see.

  4. Hello Rosemary, Spring is here even in Taipei if you look for it--the problem is finding a bit of sun to bring out the colors! I'm almost tempted to ask what's that blue color in the background?

You asked about the biscuits. They are from a shop called Sainsbury's. The biscuits were a little like shortbread. Delicious!

    1. Yes, I agree, I think that is the secret as to why we all love the spring. After winters long dark days what could be better than blue skies and the brilliant fresh colours of the new growth.

  17. Amazing pictures and colours Rosemary. Spring at it's best, captured in your stunning pictures. And I do believe we need spring. In so many ways. After the long and dark winter spring arrives with light, colour and hope. Life awakens and not only in nature but also us humans. The sparkle returns to our eyes and we seem more vibrant and alive again. :)

Have a lovely Tuesday sweet Rosemary.♥

  21. How beautiful, Rosemary, both your garden and your photos! The green of new buds are so special and other colorful flowers look more beautiful with green. I hear some places are still winter-like. Those who are in that area would be green with envy to see this post.
