They do absolutely no harm whatsoever, and they are not parasitic. However, that was not to be. I am not a worshiper of the sun.. but just become depressed when its cold ,miserable and wet.<br /><br />I am very impressed with these Lichen photos and the way they live. <br />Here there is very little lichen.. I think its the Alentejo air.
