I can relate to this post. Japan is also an island country and Kobe where I was born and raised is a cosmopolitan port town. When I moved to Nara surrounded by the mountains, I missed the sea of Kobe a lot. I feel like that the sea is always calling me. Actually I’m torn between Nara and Kobe.

I looked at The Ambassadors. Without understanding the background history and cultural things, it’s difficult for me to understand but your explanation is a great help as always.

Yoko
stardusthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10684501661629146087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7046286238110595318.post-90630287404099061242015-01-24T17:55:44.010+00:002015-01-24T17:55:44.010+00:00Such a beautiful wiew and lovely poem...I live nea...Such a beautiful wiew and lovely poem...I live near the sea and it gives me so much joy, even in the winter!
Have a great weekend, take care!
TittiHWIT BLOGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06851355663006106726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7046286238110595318.post-26457815755370795322015-01-23T22:28:11.279+00:002015-01-23T22:28:11.279+00:00I love the sea and its views in all seasons. My best childhood memories come from times spent at the shore with the English Channel beyond the beautiful bay, not knowing that one day I would sail on all the oceans of the world!
