In the Netherlands we are breaking records this week...it is hot...trees are beginning too grow, some trees have allready leafs. Youre March garden looks verry nice, I like the Helleborus, In my garden the helleborus has also flowers. Have a nice Week Rosemary.
Oh, I could walk and walk in those valleys, which look so fresh and cool, Rosemary. Hopefully soon our respective climates will synchronise for a week or two, and I will also have cool breezes and pansies nodding in the garden! Happy travels.
Dear Rosemary, I'm very very jealous of your beautiful spring walks: we just had 8 more inches of snow yesterday!!! Your photos give me hope that the green isn't too far away... Warm regards, Erika
Hello Rosemary, I love the photos with the ditches backed by the hilly woods. They are my favorite type of terrain--I just want to step over the water and start exploring.
These photos will have to suffice for the time being, but we are looking forward to your return and the new pictures you are certain to regale us with. --Jim
Good to hear you are getting some spring weather - lovely flowers. Enjoy your break in the south-west. Meanwhile, we have severe weather warnings for the weekend with a tropical cyclone headed our way.
Your garden is looking amazing. Well...details of it anyway! Ours is still looking so depressing. Beautiful shots of your walk. Have a great break....sounds like you could be coming our way......
Thank you for these inspiring beautiful spring-photographs! The sheep on the green, green grass; the little brook - want to run out at once on the look-out for the first butterfly (you know, its colour is telling us which sort of summer will come). But first: enjoy spring!
With a blooming garden like yours, it must be just a little difficult to leave now, Rosemary, but I've heard about the gorgeous early summer weather that has been happening over on the continent! Enjoy your vacation in the southwest...but which southwest???
An abundance of colour Rosemary. March is always such a treat for the eye, the emergence of colour after a grey wintery slumber fills me with such joy. I am totally and utterly excited about what summer will bring the garden this year.
Lovely scenery.
ReplyDeleteIs it warmer by far in the south west?

Have a good trip. I'll be intrigued to see where you go.

ReplyDeleteWhenever I think of Spring in England Robert Browning's Home Thoughts From Abroad creeps in to my mind. His longing reflects my own.
