Sorry to hear this dear friend - hope you will feel much better soon. I'm taking a short break too until my Mac comes back from the Apple 'hospital.' Working on my old one but problems with photos loading so just have to wait to post. Love and hugs - tell J to be kind and do the lifting for a while! Mary XX
Dear Rosemary, I hope that your wrist heals quickly and that you will not have any roadblocks in your recovery. I look forward to hearing from you. In the meantime I will miss your beautiful posts.
Hope you get better with rest. Depending what it is I found Ibuprofen works to reduce swelling and inflammation after only a couple of days on them but you have to be careful with those and Olbas oil rubbed on the skin helped as well. Had a sore arm for weeks through work, heavy lifting plus old age, and these two definitely helped reduce the healing time. Best wishes.
Oh Rosemary, I wish that your wrist will be better soon!!! So many things you cannot do at this moment - I hope you have help and that you will heal soon. I will miss your professional photos and informative texts - but will read those which are there, and take notes for my dream coming true: to be in England again. Best wishes to you! Britta
So sorry to hear this news. I hope the pain subsides and with rest you recover well. Not being able to use your wrist is frustrating. Take care Rosemary.
The _only_ good thing about total lockdown during the pandemic has been reading other peoples' blogs and updating my own. Recover well and use the bloggy world to stay sane.
When I broke my wrist and I had to have surgery and many "casts" I tried to keep my upper arm (naturally my right one as I am right-handed!) up above my heart as long as I could stand it and remember to do it. I healed quickly. Please rest and try to find something to keep your spirits up! I have always looked to your blog for inspiration, beauty and historical incite of places I often had never been aware existed! You seem to be a very high-energy woman, so I will be thinking positively about your recovery and wishing you happy thoughts, Rosemary.

I am sorry to hear about your wrist and hope it will be better soon. If it is a form of RSI, it will improve a bit with rest, I think.
