Love those snowdrops. had not heard the rose quote before. I bought some Red/white striped Amaryllis seeds at Garden Club on Monday for 50 cents. Will be interested to see how they do. Thanks for your comment on my moth.
I got these vintage egg cups for the grandchildren as I thought they were fun, but they are good with small flowers too. Hope you are treated well today.
Beautiful flowers. All from your house? I haven't had a moment to look into where I'd plan to walk. I am in Edmonton agai and my son is back in hospital.
The amaryllis is in the conservatory, the cyclamen on the kitchen windowsill and the snowdrops in the garden. I am saddened to learn that your son is back in hospital, it is a very stressful time for you all. I am happy to tell you about books when you are ready. Take care♡
A positive attitude serves you well! I like the little footed vase with the snowdrops in it. Going to one of my sister's for dinner, where the husbands will cook and serve us. Stay tuned! May your day be full of thorns with roses...I like that! Janey
I envy you having your sisters nearby, and how lovely that the husbands are cooking for you. I will certainly be watching to see what treats they have in store for you.
Hello Rosemary, What a nice bouquet to give us for Valentine's Day. I love the surreal effect of the separated stems and the overall floating-in-space quality.
Dear Jim - I do appreciate your comment very much. The floating effect of the roses took quite a lot of trial and error before I achieved it. You are the only one who noticed. Thank you.
Wherever they come from, however we get them - flowers are always the perfect gift (shown by the many creative ways we find to present them.) Happy Valentine's Day, Rosemary.
Lovely. Every year in spring I promise myself that I will get to grips with my garden, producing abundant blooms for the summer. I have never really got on top of it. Your post is inspiring me to do it this year.
Lovely flowers for Valentine's, Rosemary, and I hope you had an enjoyable day. The snowdrops are so sweet with their little shoes, and I love the Georgia O'Keefe quote, and the big joyful blooms. We went to the O'Keefe art museum in Santa Fe a few years ago, and it was a memorable experience!
Am late with catching up Rosemary. Your valentines roses are so divine.. My favorite flower. Georgia o keefe's work is so so interesting. I love her art. Filipe and Diana were here for Valentines and Filipe took over.. it was great. fantastic photos Rosemary.. val xxx
