Gosh, that was truly amazing, thank you! I've just watched the other two parts and was so impressed by the magic of "the choreography on the air, danced by bees". I think it's time for fireworks to move on ... Happy New Year to you!
This is so wonderful and beautiful Rosemary. I have no idea how it was done, but I wish we could see something like it in Australia on festive occasions. What a very special treat and message. Happy New Year.
Happy New Year Pipistrello, Patricia and Lorrie. This spectacular display was done using 'drones' I was intrigued by it. There was also a similar display over London last night.
I've seen other drone shows and all are fascinating - but this one is so heartwarming accompanied by such beautiful words (can't not love David Tennant's voiceover) at a time when we so need comfort, peace and hope. Thanks for sharing Rosemary.
Well conceived. "Tears streaming doon ma sporran!" I have missed my east coast and Edinburgh trips this year but a rest is as good as a change so hopefully I'll appreciate them even more once its over and I can get back on city to city buses again.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours.
Glad that you enjoyed seeing it Orvokki.
DeleteHello Rosemary, An amazing spectacle. It's good to know that talent and creativity have not bowed to recent pressures and limitations.

Hello - those were my exact thoughts too Jim - It is hard to imagine that this was all achieved by simply using drones.
DeleteSo beautiful and so spectacular. Thank You Rosemary for sharing what to me is a new art form. Stay well.
ReplyDeleteIt must be lovely to be able see it in real time Gina - it was a first for me too.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Rosemary.
I am a David Tennant fan too Mary - I had completely forgotten that he is a Scot.

ReplyDeleteI am really hoping that we can return to Scotland in the not too far distant future.
DeleteFabulous. I love the running deer and clever to get the real ones in too.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Rosemary.
It has all been beautifully conceived from the rendition of the poetry, the music and the almost balletic movements of the drones.
