Yes, Olive, I adore cowslips too. They are only just poking their heads through. I do have a great love of flowers, but sadly I am no expert. Dear Olive, a very happy Easter to you and Joe.
Dear Marie - the eggs were made by my daughter-in-law. I think that she used a very fine Japanese paper stuck on to blown eggs. Hope Easter is a relaxed and very happy time for you.
Dear Val - happy Easter time to you. I think perhaps I should take your advice and reflect. I have had one of my granddaughters staying, which has involved two quite long journeys collecting and returning her. H took her on a hike, I took her for a horse riding lesson and a pony trek, the cinema etc. The car now really needs a good clean, which I intended to do today. However, your timely advice may now be taken up.
Dear Yoko - warm greetings to you this Eastertide. You are correct. The eggs are covered in a very fine Japanese paper and made by my daughter-in-law - very well done on spotting their Oriental feel.
Dear Mark - I hope you enjoy the Easter break. Both of my daughter-in-laws are very creative people and do lots of interesting artistic things with all of the grandchildren. The one who made these lives in Norway, and the other one has spent this week doing daily art workshops for local children during the holiday period.
Dear Rosemary, Beautiful Easter photos. Love the eggs your daughter-in-law has made. The wreath is so beautiful, did you make it? Hope you have a wonderful Easter. Mette
Dear Mette - thanks very much. I photographed the wreath hanging on the doorway of our local shop, a rather quaint old Cotswold stone building. Enjoy the Easter weekend, and may the sun shine for us all.
