Good luck with the new computer - I am getting one for Christmas also, and wonder how long it will take for me to learn Windows 10! Wishing you a Merry Christmas, and peace, joy and happiness in the new year, dear Rosemary.
Happy Christmas to you and your family, dear Rosemary.
I have just gone through that ugly exercise of getting used to a new computer. The young man who installed it for me and transferred all information will not be able to help me for a while. He has serious health issues and I don't want to bother him.
Hello Rosemary, Happy Holidays to you and your family, and good luck with the new computer. Don't listen to Rusty Duck above--we need you back on the job as soon as possible! Since a lot of the setup for blogs, etc. is stored in on-line accounts, I'm hoping that the transition will be eased. When I go to Cleveland now, I use my sister's computer, so it is almost like setting up a new one, but I find I can get up to speed pretty quickly.
By the way, I probably will be getting a new computer myself soon. Mine is getting old, and they are discontinuing support for Windows 7 in January. I am going to try to add a few new challenges, like getting the Wifi working, and imposing a new organizational system for my files.
I hope your children will be around to get your new machine all fixed up for you. --Jim
