My first post,Swiss Family Holiday, was last July. I could never have imagined then that I would become acquainted with so many new friends from around the world.
Looking at your blogs is something I enjoy, and equally I appreciate the interaction shared through comments.
A big thank you. I look forward to another year of happy blogging♥
Dear Olive - thank you so much. Making contact with people like yourself is the reason I have found blogging such a great experience. You came to my aid when I had a difficult moment, and I shall always be grateful for the help you gave me.
Dear Marie - I have really enjoyed our contact, and also seeing your lovely photos. Glad you like the collage of avatars, and pleased that you managed to find your own.
Dear Karen - thank you so much, that is very kind of you. I will always remember that you encouraged me to persist with macro photographs for which I am grateful. The blogging world are so very generous and encouraging with their help and advice.
Dear Rosemary, I just had to congratulate you on your anniversary. Milestones like that should not go unmentioned. I am glad you are blogging because what you post is fun to read. Yours, Joe
Happy blogging anniversary to you, rosemary! This round icon of your Friends all together is so cool! It looks like an expanding universe where each one is not isolated but have connections to each other through this wonderful blog. I’m very happy to be part of this.
Dear Yoko - I love your description of an expanding universe where each one of us is not isolated but have connections to one another - what a wonderful metaphor you have used - thank you for those special words.
Dear Marijke - I returned late last night, and have not had time to visit any blogs yet. Hope all is well with you and your lovely garden. Thank you for your kind comment. It was good to see sunhine whilst we were away.
Congratulations on your first year. Your posts are always such a pleasure to read, and visually stunning. Your wheel of followers is absolutely delightful. I am looking forward to continuing our blogging relationship Rosemary. Fondest wishes, Janice.
Dear Janice - a wheel of followers is a lovely description. What a delight it is to have found so many wonderful people from around the world, and I am sure that you feel the same. Looking forward to continuing our blogging relationship too Janice♥
Happy Anniversary Rosemary. I love the way you keep raising the bar with your image creativity. This one is fantastic and instantly made me think of the kaleidoscope I had as a child. When viewed in your sidebar it becomes a beautiful stained glass window. Heres to another year of superb blogging! Paul
Dear Paul - thank you, I do appreciate your kind comments, and glad that you enjoyed the collage. Followers have come up with all kinds of descriptions of it, and I particularly like your kaleidoscope idea. You are right about it in the sidebar, it has become a stained glass window!!! Have you not tried giving my tondos a try yet? I did post a lesson a couple of weeks before I went away.
What a wonderful way to celebrate you first anniversary, congratulations! I never realised how starting a blog would have introduced me to so many wonderful people all around the world. I look forward to many more posts from you! Sarah x
Dear Sarah - I do not have any 'real life' friends who blog. In fact one friend said to me the other day that I am the first person they have ever met who blogs. I think that it is their loss, and I am sure you feel the same. It is lovely to be connected with so many wonderful people. Perhaps the world would be a happier place if more people connected and blogged too?
Welcome back! I just read your comments....oh good, Rosemary is back! Ok, this roundel has got to be my favorite blog image of all time!! A total keeper. So creative and wonderful. Thanks for your friendship. Loi
Dear Loi - that is such a very generous comment. I made the roundel by a very simple process, and in fact I was not totally satisfied as I had hoped it would be brighter and sharper. Thank you for your friendship too, I really enjoy visiting you at your blog.
