    and i loved your last post ... my grndmother was born in 1911! she passed away in 1984 and already then the world seemed very comfussing for her...

    I am pleased you liked the post about my mother and aunt. It is necessary to try and keep abreast of developments and hopefully it keeps the brain active.

  4. Hi, Rosemary - Your pumpkins remind me of the scary ones my father used to carve, and that's given me inspiration for next year's Halloween posting. Children don't trick or treat in my neighborhood (not because of me!), so I'll be spending the evening out. I hope you have a ... Happy Halloween!

  7. Thanks Nat - pumpkins are remarkably good for carving. My daughter-in-law is very creative with them, and makes wonderful elaborate ones.
